Who doesn’t know Scarlett. She’s beautiful, smart, funny, bold, and successful. Oh, and she have been named Hollywood’s highest-grossing actor of all time. She is certainly thriving. This week, our Wednesday women crush is Scarlett Johansson. She is the definition of sexy and smart.
Born in New York, she started her acting career as early as the age of 8. She appeared in an off-broadway production of Sophistry Ethan Hawke. She dedicated herself to be being an actor and studied at Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School (PCS). It’s a private institution that is responsible for producing world reknowned stars such as Carrie Fisher, Rita Moreno, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Scarlett then made her film debut in 1994 where she starred in North with Elijah Wood. However, it is not until in 2003 that she made her breakthrough. Scarlett had two starring roles in 2003, playing in Lost In Translation and Girl with a Pearl Earring. She has quickly become the up and coming Hollywood actresses.
More recently, we know scarlett as Black Widow. It’s part of the evergrowing Marvel Cinematic Universe. She was first invovled with the MCU back in 2010, starring as Black Widow in Iron Man 2. Since then, she also appeared in The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016).
Scarlett takes good care of her body. She loves working out and staying in shape. Even after she gave birth to Rose Dorothy, she got right back to the gym. Talking to Shape, Scarlett said that having a baby hasn’t changed her workout schedule too much. “It’s just about trying to find time to go to the gym,” she says. Scarlett is very dedicated to her fitness, it’s not just about looking good but it’s about feeling healthy and strong. But, she is human after all. Scarlett pointed out that going back to the gym is hard once she started to slack. That’s the hard part. However, once you have made it a habit, it becomes so easy to go the gym every day and it makes her feel good.
