MEET YOUR COACHES
As a former professional athlete in the CFL and NFL, JT Gilmore specializes in high-intensity, strategically-engineered fitness design with an edge to push you to reach beyond what you know you’re capable of- with no two workouts ever repeating to keep you inspired. Alex, a former fitness competitor turned certified personal trainer, uses her in-depth knowledge of nutrition to craft delicious recipes that support your fitness goals and energize you every day.
With certifications in personal training, degrees in Sport Psychology and Kinesiology, experience training more than 10,000 Thrivers, JT & Alex lead a team of Coaches in Saskatoon and Winnipeg who are your personal motivators leading you through DYNAMIC, unique (and fun!) workouts, and keeping you accountable to your goals and potential through the Challenge.

THE FRAMEWORK: FITNESS, NUTRITION, ACCOUNTABILITY + COMMUNITY
FITNESS
Using ACT-LETE testing, we create a personalized fitness assessment to measure your progress from the outset of the Challenge right to the end. During your 12 weeks working out 3x or more a week, you’ll participate in our signature Thrive Bootcamps, Exclusive Challenge Skills Workshops, and explore all of your physical potential and DIAL IN your form to smash personal bests.
NOURISH
Let’s fuel up. Whether you love cooking or have never stepped foot in your kitchen- your customized meal plan is flavour-packed and full of options within the never-feels-like-a-diet framework. With your preferences, allergies, or restrictions in mind; we give you a step-by-step grocery and ingredients list with easy recipes so you can integrate your new routine into your life- sustainably, and with food everyone will enjoy. The result: more energy, healthier nutrition, and the perfect fuel to support your fitness goals.
ACCOUNTABILITY
New to R23 is the Accountability Program: a custom coaching experience that gets you the highest-level of accountability and goal progress tracking, designed by PHD Candidate + Thrive Coach Mack. With weekly check-ins, multiple in-person (or zoom!) meetings and tracking, you’ll see progress every single day - staying motivated with a Coach to guide you through the Challenge. Optional + bonus add-on.
For all Challengers, you get baseline assessments including: through the pre and post challenge act-lete fitness testing and 3d fit body scans — you have the ability to understand the physical changes in strength, speed, body composition, and measurements as a result of your 12-weeks in the challenge.
BONUS: with a photoshoot at the end of the Challenge, you get to see your newfound confidence and strength shine!
COMMUNITY
You’re never alone. From the Challengers who are sweating alongside you at bootcamps to the online Facebook community, your accountability is supercharged when you have a team of people who are there to support you, cheer you on, and smash goals together.

Regardless of your fitness level, age, you can succeed at Thrive! The challenge is an amazing starting point because you have the support of the challenge Facebook group and the meal plan. The community is so supportive, and an amazing way for challengers to share successes, support each other in challenging times, and cheer each other on! The meal plan is truly one of the best parts of the challenge: Alex is a magician and creates the most delicious, healthy options that make you feel like you’re not eating “meal plan food”!
