Our Winnipeg-based bootcamp classes are high energy and a high-fiving good time. We bring together the energy and excitement of a group workout with the effective techniques and training we know to be successful. Each class is challenging and always fresh to make sure your body doesn’t plateau. Join us for a fun, motivating workout for every fitness level.

 

Daily Workout Design

Don’t worry about missing out. Our workouts are set for the day, so no matter what class you sign up for on that day, you’ll get the same workout. Morning, afternoon, or evening.

Follow the leader. Classes always start with a group warm up followed by a demonstration and explanation of all the exercises in the workout. 

Keep things balanced. The types of workouts we offer are designed so that clients can come to multiple classes a week and structure their training properly, splitting between upper, lower, conditioning, and full body.

Reps, not repeats. We never repeat workouts to keep things fresh and unique for optimal results and constant progressions. 


Members

Everybody’s welcome. All of our Thrive Active classes are co-ed and open to all people and all fitness levels. Modifications are always provided to appropriately challenge you at your physical fitness and comfort level.


Class Types

Full Body : 45 min 

A full body workout focused on strength training with a side of conditioning and core for good measure. Get a whole-body workout in and never do the same one twice, this class will keep you motivated and feeling that good burn. All of our classes are circuit style, co-ed, and open to all fitness levels. 

Lower Body : 45 min 

Get into your legs, glutes, and all things lower body with a side of conditioning and core for good measure. This class is focused on strength training using a variety of weights and equipment. All of our classes are circuit style, co-ed, and open to all fitness levels.

Upper Body : 45 min

Get your arms, shoulders, chest and back burning in the best way possible with a side of conditioning and core for good measure. This class is focused on strength training using a variety of weights and equipment. All of our classes are circuit style, co-ed, and open to all fitness levels.

Conditioning :45 min 

This high intensity interval training class is a 70% cardio and 30% core work split. Get a metabolic burn that lasts for up to 24 hours after the workout is over with lots of plyometrics and agility and no weights. Great for building stamina, increasing endurance, burning fat, and full body toning. All of our classes are circuit style, co-ed, and open to all fitness levels.

PRICING


Booking

Know before you go. Before you can book a class, you have to have a credit in your account. Click here to see our class schedule and to purchase passes. 

It’s a date. Make a schedule for yourself, you can book every Wednesday onward for the following week’s classes.


Waitlist

No stress. If the class you want to attend is booked up, you can add yourself to the waitlist and we’ll send you an email if a spot opens up. You have to have a credit in your account to add yourself to the waitlist but if you don’t get in the credit will be put back into your account. If a spot does open up you will automatically be added to a class up 60 minutes before it starts. So, be on standby and treat yourself like you’re getting into the class (positive visualization, anyone?). If you can no longer make it, remove yourself from the waitlist by logging onto your account and unbooking.


Cancellation Policy

Ch-ch-changes. Things change and that’s fine but if you can no longer make it to your class make sure you cancel at least 12 hours before it starts. Unlimited members, bootcamp challengers and intro packs will be charged $10 for late cancellations (less than twelve hours) and all members will be charged a $10 “no show” fee if you fail to cancel or show up. Log onto your account to cancel a class.

2) COACH DEMO

BECAUSE AT THRIVE WE ARE ABOUT REPS, NOT REPEATS — EVERY WORKOUT IS DIFFERENT AND CONTAINS DIFFERENT ELEMENTS. THIS MEANS YOUR COACH WILL ALWAYS EXPLAIN AND DEMONSTRATE EACH ELEMENT/STATION OF THE WORKOUT TO EVERYONE (NOT JUST THE NEWBIES!). THIS INCLUDES THINGS LIKE THE FORMAT OF THE WORKOUT, HOW TO USE THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT, AND PROPER TECHNIQUE.

PUSH HARD. DO YOUR BEST. KEEP THE ENERGY GOING. CHEER ON YOUR FELLOW THRIVERS AS YOU SWEAT IT OUT.

OUR ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYER

OUR ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYER IS A HIGH-END FOGGER THAT DOES A 360 CLING WRAP OF MEDICAL-GRADE CLEANING SOLUTION AROUND ALL SURFACES TO CREATE AN EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE AND POWERFUL DISINFECTING CLEANING JOB. WE SPRAY BEFORE and after every bootcamp session (OUR ENERGY EXCHANGERS ARE CLEANING MASTERS!).


MEDICAL GRADE CLEANING SOLUTION

THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE THRIVE FACILITY (IN THE ECO-GYM, WASHROOMS, LOBBY, DOORHANDLES ETC.) WE EXCLUSIVELY USE MEDICAL GRADE CLEANING SOLUTION.

THIS IS A SPRAY ON SANITIZER AND DISINFECTANT THAT IS NO-RINSE, NON-BLEACHING, AND HEALTH CANADA APPROVED. IT IS ECO-FRIENDLY, HYPOALLERGENIC, SAFE TO HANDLE, AND DESTROYS GERMS AND VIRUSES.


VACCINATION & MASK REQUIREMENTS

AS PER THE NEW MANITOBA PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS, AS OF FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD, masks for all thrivers are MANDATORY WHEN IN COMMON SPACES (LOBBY, LOCKERS, CHANGEROOMS, WASHROOMS). THRIVERS HAVE THE CHOICE ON WHETHER OR NOT TO WEAR A MASK WHILE WORKING OUT IN THE ECO-GYM. WE FULLY RESPECT AND SUPPORT THOSE THAT WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO MASK-UP AT THE GYM! COACHES AND STAFF WILL REMAIN WEARING MASKS FOR THE TIME BEING.

AS PER THE NEW MANITOBA PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS, AS OF FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD, ONLY INDIVIDUALS WHO CAN PROVIDE PROOF OF IMMUNIZATION ARE PERMITTED TO TAKE CLASSES OR WORKOUT WITHIN GYMS IN MANITOBA. THIS INCLUDES THRIVE ACTIVE. AS A STAFF, WE WILL BE ASKING THRIVERS TO PROVIDE QR CODES / MB IMMUNIZATION CARDS UPON ARRIVAL TO THE ECO-GYM AND THEN STORING THEIR PROOF OF VACCINATION STATUS IN EACH THRIVERS PROFILE WITHIN OUR SYSTEM.
THIS MEANS YOU WILL ONLY HAVE TO SHOW YOUR PROOF OF IMMUNIZATION TO OUR TEAM ONCE (NOT EVERY VISIT). THESE RULES WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL MANITOBA'S CURRENT PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS ARE LIFTED.

THRIVE IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE AT ~30% CAPACITY TO GIVE LOTS OF ROOM FOR DISTANCING AND COMFORT DURING THIS TRANSITION TIME WHERE RESTRICTIONS ARE STARTING TO CHANGE (IE: MASKS).
